About Us

Liverpool Language Festival 2017 is the first event from the Language Festival Association organised in Liverpool, NSW. The event purpose is to celebrate language diversity and raise awareness about endangered languages. The festival demonstrates the advantages of being multilingual, emphasises the ideas that all languages are equally important and valuable, provides an educational taster of multiple languages and cultures in a fun environment.

The purpose of the festival is to showcase the great diversity of languages in the world and to demonstrate that all languages are equally important and valuable. The event will start with the opening address by Mr Richard Delamore (pictured).

During LLF 2017 Richard will present a new Esperanto app, Amikumu

Ario Bimo Utomo
International Relations postgraduate student at the University of Sydney, Australia.

Besides his major in International Relations, Bimo has a particular interest in languages. He speaks fluent Indonesian, Javanese, English, also basic level Esperanto, Dutch, and Turkish.

10+ languages will be presented at the festival, including:

Esperanto, Russian, Indonesian, Tamil
